TFS Tent
TFS Tent
This structure fulfils the need for a permanent quick-fit structure to house the biggest events worldwide.
With this product, we offer the largest temporary structure in the Iberian Peninsula and one of the largest in Europe.
This structure has a minimum width (free span without central support - total usable area) of 40m and a maximum of 50m. Its length is variable in 5m modules.
Besides its appealing shape and design, it has some prominent features of tremendous importance over other existing structures. Its shape not only allows an outstanding interior height, but it was also designed to be one of the most durable and safe. Recognised throughout Europe by the most demanding building organisations such as the British “Building Codes”, the German “Prüfbuch standard”, and the French “Extrait du registre de sécurité”, among others.
Unlike other structures, it has a complex system. During assembly and after all the aluminium structure and PVC ceilings are built, our technicians use hydraulic instrumentation to push out the main trusses supported by small embedded rails, thus stretching all the PVC so that it is fully tensioned and the structure is compact, without hearing the usual annoying wind noise or screen movement. The building is thus completely solid and extremely safe. To make this possible the PVC in this model stands out for its very special characteristics in terms of resistance and its special capacity for flexibility in all directions (horizontal and vertical), contrary to what happens with the PVC used in other structures. Furthermore it meets all safety requirements and European standards concerning its combustion grade (fire standards M2).
It has silver-coloured PVC on the outside and Black-coloured on the inside to allow for versatility regarding lighting and projection. Even so, Silvestre Festas created the possibility of putting transparent roofs or smooth white fabric lining to cover other types of events such as the tent’s debut at the 2011 Estoril Open.
