Silvestre Festas is now an habitué in the most mediatised and important surfing event in Portugal, the Rip Curl Pro Portugal.

In an event of such great importance and media coverage, much emphasis was placed on quality and catering to not only the stars such as Kelly Slater, Taj Burrow, Joel Parkinson, Tiago Pires, but also the guests and the general public with the best possible conditions.
Given the particularities of the site and taking into account that the best waves do not choose the best flooring or places to gather, Silvestre Festas has consistently done a great job over the years, always putting up the best structures (as seen in the picture), including a VIP area in a double-deck (two-storey) structure in the years prior to 2013 or subsequently all the structure of grand stands and VIP tents deployed at the top of the “Super Tubos” dunes at the beach of Peniche.
