Cascais was chosen in 2010 to start the now internationally known Audi MedCup.

All said, five races took place over five months in four different countries. The first trophy was in Cascais where we could see the two types of vessels in competition (series 40 and 52) and where we could enjoy the wonderful space created by Silvestre Festas in the Cascais Marina. The structure was named the Village, a covered area of considerable size available where most of the event’s social entertainment or live concerts, broadcasts on a giant screen, restaurants, and other activities took place.
