The well-known Estoril Circuit, opened on 16 June 1972 and has since been where much of the motorsports action in our country takes place, received the A1 GP in 2005.

Inevitably, in this mythical place of great stories, such as the 1st victory of Ayrton Senna in Formula 1, among many other significant events, Silvestre Festas also raised all the structures that supported this international event.
